Michael Mattia, PT DPT MS
Dr. Michael Mattia graduated from SUNY Downstate CHRP with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1980. Upon graduation, Dr. Mattia began work in Physical Therapy at the Hospital for Joint Diseases. He attended the Long Island University Brooklyn campus obtaining his MS in 1985. Dr. Mattia established Mattia Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in 1985 to bring his high level of Orthopedic and neurologic PT to the community where he was raised. Dr. Mattia completed his clinical Doctorate at Temple University in 2005. He is an Adjunct Professor at the College of Staten Island and Kingsborough Community College.
